Shariff Nasr is a versatile stand-up comedian who effortlessly blends sharp comedy with thought-provoking social commentary. With a disarming style and sharp wit, he finds humour in everyday life while giving a voice to stories that are often overlooked, making audiences laugh about the subjects we usually prefer to avoid.

Alongside his stand-up career, Shariff is an award-winning writer and director. He recently created the acclaimed series Mocros and wrote the feature film El Houb, which won the Dutch Golden Calf for Best Screenplay and has been released internationally.

On stage, Shariff has quickly established himself as one of the Netherlands’ most exciting new comedy talents, winning awards at several comedy festivals, including both the Jury and Audience Awards at the 2024 Leeuwarder Cabaret Festival. He is also a regular performer with the popular sketch collective Een Stukje and the satirical radio show Spijkers met Koppen.
